The father of a young man found shot to death early Sunday said he didn't expect his son's life to end in violence.

The body of 21-year-old Romello Pritchard was found about 5:15 a.m. Sunday when police from the East Precinct responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 2300 block of 7th Place Northwest. Responding officers found Pritchard on the ground, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
