Travis Cooper, a 22-year-old from Baltimore, MD, was shot on May 26, 2005, in the 2800 block of Mayfield Avenue in the Belair-Edison neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore. Despite surviving the initial shooting, Cooper suffered from complications related to his injuries for nearly two decades. On August 21, 2023, at the age of 42, he passed away at his residence.
