On November 1, 2007, at approximately 2:58 a.m., 23-year-old Roberto Tario was fatally shot in the 2100 block of University Boulevard in Adelphi, Maryland. The incident occurred in a neighborhood that had experienced several violent crimes earlier that year, including a stabbing in March and a shooting in April.
