Kordero Maurice Howard, a 21-year-old from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, tragically lost his life on November 29, 2008. Howard was shot while driving home from the Icon Nightclub in Waldorf, Maryland. The incident occurred early Saturday morning as Howard and his friends were traveling on Route 5. As they neared the intersection of Branch Avenue and Coventry Way in Clinton, Maryland, a suspect pulled alongside Howard's car and fired a single shot into the vehicle, striking Howard in the upper body.
