Lamar Featherston, a 35-year-old male from Landover, Maryland, was fatally shot on a Tuesday evening. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 6300 block of 67th Place in the unincorporated section of Landover. When Prince George's County police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Featherston inside a car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the location.
