35 year old mother of 7 shot in the back
In the early morning hours of September 11, 2017, a disturbance in a Central City parking lot in New Orleans tragically cut short the life of 35-year-old Giggie Blount. An African-American female, Blount was a mother to seven children and was remembered by her family as a vibrant and loving woman who enjoyed singing and dancing.

Responding to a call at approximately 3:30 a.m., police officers discovered Blount with a gunshot wound to her back. Emergency medical services attempted to reviv ...
