Martel Rooks, a 23-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, tragically lost his life on December 1, 2014. He was born on February 1, 1991, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and attended Baltimore City Public Schools. The circumstances surrounding his death were deeply distressing, as he was fatally shot in the 3900 block of Penhurst Avenue.
