Marie Shade Adebayo, a 24-year-old University of Maryland graduate, was tragically killed on June 1, 2015, in the parking lot of a Target store in Germantown, Maryland. Adebayo, who had recently ended a six-month relationship with Donald Wayne Bricker Jr., agreed to meet him in the parking lot after he threatened to harm himself over their breakup.
