In a tragic turn of events, 50-year-old Michelle Carter, a female resident of Germantown, Maryland, lost her life in what authorities have described as a murder-suicide. The incident unfolded on a Monday morning, February 28, 2022, when police responded to reports of gunshots in the parking lot of a townhome community on Highstream Drive.
