In the winter of 2015, the life of 30-year-old William Epps was cut short in a burst of violence inside a Baltimore home. On Wednesday, December 16, 2015, police were called to the 2100 block of North Barclay Street where they discovered Epps suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, another victim in a year that saw a significant rise in homicides in the city.
