Mason Cameron Atkins, an 18-year-old from Deale, Maryland, tragically lost his life on September 25, 2016, in La Plata, Maryland. The incident occurred after Atkins and his friends attended an outdoor party on Mona Farm Place uninvited. They were asked to leave and drove a short distance away. Meanwhile, another group, also asked to leave the party, drove past Atkins and his friends, leading to a confrontation.
