On November 30, 2016, Troy Smothers, aged 29, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred in front of the Stop One convenience store in the Liberty Heights area. Smothers was one of the victims in a violent attack that also claimed the life of 23-year-old Davon Dozier and injured four others. According to the medical examiner, Smothers died from a single gunshot wound to the back, and his death was ruled a homicide.
