Dontia Akins, a 33-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically killed on January 27, 2017. According to reports, Akins was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1200 block of West Cross Street. The incident involved a vehicle attempting to flee the scene, which was subsequently stopped by police, and the occupants were detained for questioning.
