Luis Guillermo "Luisito" Lopez Lugo was last seen on June 20, 1998, in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. At the time of his disappearance, he was nine years old. Reports indicate that Luis was riding his bicycle on the day he went missing. He has not been seen or heard from since. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear.
Born on September 3, 1988, Luis was described as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. At the time he went missing, he was 4'5" tall and weighed approximately 90 pounds. A notable distinguishing characteristic is a scar located over his left eyebrow. When last seen, he was wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts.
The case is classified as an endangered missing person. Law enforcement agencies, including the Puerto Rico Police Department, have been involved in the investigation. His case is registered with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children under case number 855408 and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System as case #MP6320. There has been some speculation that Luis may be living in the state of New York. Age-progressed photos have been created and circulated to show what Luis might look like as he has aged.
