Kevin Bartimus Hawkins, a 29-year-old resident of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was found with severe trauma to his upper body on July 29, 2017. He was discovered lying on the side of the road at 1408 Pine Grove Road and was immediately rushed to a hospital. Medical examinations revealed that Hawkins had been shot, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
