In the quiet community of Burtonsville, Maryland, the life of 63-year-old Todd Mcdonough Pruitt was brought to a tragic and violent end on September 6, 2017. That evening, a 51-year-old man from Silver Spring named Lloyd Patrick Walters walked into the Montgomery County Police Department's 3rd District station. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. As officers administered first aid, Walters made a startling confession: he had shot a man in a trailer.
