Demetrius Tanner, a 32-year-old co-owner of Papa Hill's Fish Grill, was tragically killed in a shooting on October 17, 2019, in Baltimore, Maryland. According to the Baltimore Police Department, Tanner and another victim, Frank Payne, 23, were found with gunshot wounds to the head on the 2500 block of Brookfield Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Both men were transported to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
