In the winter of 2020, the life of Wesley Alan Gibson, a male resident of Knoxville, Maryland, came to a violent end in his home on South Mountain Road. On the evening of January 28th, his fiancée, Michelle Handorf, placed a 911 call, informing dispatchers that she had shot him. When authorities arrived, they found Gibson suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
