In the late hours of a Saturday night in Landover, Maryland, on April 18, 2020, the life of 26-year-old Eugene Deondre Jones of Oxon Hill was tragically cut short. What began as a dispute over an illegal drug transaction in a parking lot on Courtney Place escalated into a scene of violence that would leave two men dead and two others wounded.
