On a Saturday afternoon in Capitol Heights, Maryland, the life of 28-year-old Curtis Lee Edwards Jr. of Suitland was tragically cut short. On January 16, 2021, at approximately 12:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 5200 block of Marlboro Pike. Upon arrival, officers discovered Edwards inside a car, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
