In the winter of 2022, the life of 17-year-old Keye'shawn Wilson was tragically cut short on a Tuesday afternoon in northwest Baltimore. On January 11th, at approximately 2:46 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 3900 block of West Belvedere Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers discovered the young Black male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, and Keye'shawn was swiftly transported to a nearby
hospital for urgent medical care. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
In the wake of the shooting, the Baltimore Police Department's homicide detectives launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Keye'shawn Wilson's death. Authorities have appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with information to come forward and contact either the homicide unit or Metro Crime Stoppers. As of current available information, there have been no arrests made in connection with the shooting, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The case remains an open investigation.
