In the early morning hours of June 18, 2022, the life of 35-year-old Davon Battle was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. Reports of gunfire drew patrol officers to the 2700 block of Maryland Avenue at approximately 7:05 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, but Battle's injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
Homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department have opened an investigation into the incident.
