In the early hours of November 23, 2022, the life of Travis Curry, a 43-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. Police were initially called to the intersection of North Milton Avenue and McElderry Street for a report of a shooting. At that location, they discovered a 34-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hip.
The investigation took a grim turn when officers located a second victim, Travis Curry, inside a residence on the 500 block
of North Rose Street. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite the immediate response from medical personnel, Curry was pronounced deceased at the scene.
