In the early morning hours of March 22, 2015, the life of 28-year-old Don Terrell Simmons was tragically cut short in a burst of violence outside a nightclub in Longs, South Carolina. Simmons, a Black male, was in the 1500 block of Highway 9 when he was shot multiple times.

Horry County Police officers responded to the scene at Club Ciroc around 3:30 a.m., where they discovered Simmons suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Grand Strand Medical Center, but the injuries he sustain ...
