Devincent Cortez Hughey, a 26-year-old resident of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 5, 2015. Hughey, also known by his nickname "Hoop," was found dead in the parking lot of a convenience store located at the intersection of Highways 72 and 81. This incident occurred around 3:30 a.m., shortly after a nearby nightclub had closed for the night.
