Joseph Wright, a 46-year-old resident of Pickens, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 14, 2015. The incident occurred late at night, and Wright was pronounced dead at Greenville Memorial Hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the right side of his abdomen. The shooting took place at a residence on Bivens Street in Pickens, where an altercation had reportedly occurred prior to the incident.
