In the early morning hours of July 23, 2022, a disturbance at a residence on Allgood Bridge Road in Pickens, South Carolina, ended in the shooting death of 34-year-old Logan Nix. Nix, a male resident of Liberty, suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
