In the fall of 2015, the life of Horace Jones Jr., a 45-year-old male attorney from Rock Hill, South Carolina, came to a tragic end under a cloud of serious legal troubles. On Monday, October 12, 2015, a day he was scheduled to appear in a Jasper County courtroom to face a felony charge, Jones was found deceased in a wooded area on Falls Road outside of Rock Hill. Authorities reported that he had what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and his death was investigated as a suicide.
