Darius Jones, an 18-year-old from Timmonsville, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on February 1, 2016. According to the Florence County Coroner, Keith von Lutcken, Jones died from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the afternoon at a residence on Byrd Street in Timmonsville. The Florence County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Timmonsville Police Department, is treating the case as a homicide.
