Death by Force

Tomena Gail Ford, a 33-year-old woman from Florence, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on May 26, 2016. Ford was found dead at a home in the Tara Village community on Ashley Court in Florence. According to Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken, she died from a gunshot wound and had been beaten multiple times before being shot. At the time of her death, Ford was eight months pregnant with a viable fetus, which also did not survive.
