Death by Force

J.C. Mims, a 73-year-old resident of North Augusta, South Carolina, was tragically shot to death on the night of June 13, 2016. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. on H and H Street, where Mims was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was quickly transported to Augusta University Medical Center but was pronounced dead at 11:26 p.m. by Coroner Tim Carlton.
