Christopher Goldsmith, a 32-year-old resident of Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically shot and killed on November 12, 2016, in the 700 block of Camp Street, near the Shelby Park neighborhood. Goldsmith was found outside a home with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His murder marked a grim milestone as the 100th homicide in Louisville that year, which saw a record number of violent deaths.
