Ellie Becoat III, a 23-year-old resident of Pamplico, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 1, 2017. The incident occurred on East Main Street in Pamplico, where Becoat was fatally shot. The Florence County Sheriff's Office identified Zafir Abdul Bethea as the primary suspect in the case. Bethea, who was out on bond for a previous murder charge from 2015, was accused of shooting and killing Becoat.
