Do you know who murdered Dernell Hunt? In the Park DuValle neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, a single act of violence brought a young man's life to an untimely end. On the evening of May 23, 2017, at the intersection of Southern Avenue and Hemlock Street, 24-year-old Dernell Hunt, a Black male, was discovered inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Hunt succumbed to his injury the following afternoon, May 24, 2017.
