Keera Nicole Young, a 21-year-old resident of Chester, South Carolina, tragically passed away on March 11, 2018. Keera was found with a gunshot wound to her chest at an apartment on Pine Street. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries. The incident occurred in the presence of Ja'Mario Peay, who was later charged with manslaughter. According to reports, Peay was handling a .45-caliber handgun carelessly when it accidentally discharged, resulting in Keera's death.
