Death by Force

Markese Jones, a 26-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 31, 2018. The incident occurred on the 1700 block of Carolina Road, where Richland County deputies responded to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, they found Jones suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.
