In the quiet town of Timmonsville, South Carolina, the life of 11-year-old Breyanna Priscilla Jackson was tragically cut short on May 31, 2018. She was a young girl known for her love of singing, dancing, and playfully taking photos of her grandmother sleeping. Breyanna, a student at Brockington Elementary School, was at her home on McCutcheon Road with her family when a visit from an acquaintance turned into a scene of unimaginable violence.
That evening, a man known to the family
arrived at their residence. He reportedly visited the home twice that day. During the second visit, an altercation broke out between the man and Breyanna's father. The dispute escalated with horrific speed, culminating in a burst of gunfire that forever altered the lives of the Jackson family. Breyanna, her 39-year-old mother, Cheirese Lutricia Smith Jackson, and her 14-year-old sister, Nykerria Shanyia Jackson, were all fatally wounded in the shooting.
