Fantasia Shyann Jackson, a 12-year-old girl from Timmonsville, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on August 25, 2018. Fantasia, who had previously survived a brain tumor and undergone multiple surgeries, including hip replacements, was shot and killed shortly after returning from a fair. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when Fantasia was dropped off at her grandparents' home. As she was running for cover, she was fatally shot by Michael Christian Barclay.
