In the late summer of 2018, the life of 63-year-old David Stephen Silvey, a man known for his faith and love for his family, was tragically cut short. On Sunday, August 19th, in the Buffalo community of Union County, South Carolina, what began as a verbal dispute over a parked car escalated into a fatal encounter. Silvey, who was riding a four-wheeler, became involved in an argument with a man he had never met before. That man was 27-year-old Joshua McKenzie Miles.
