On December 9, 2018, authorities in Holly Hill, South Carolina, made a grim discovery that initially appeared to be a tragic traffic accident but soon unraveled into a double homicide investigation. Law enforcement officers responded to a scene on Brelands Road, a rural stretch of the county, where they found a damaged 2004 Chevrolet Impala. Inside the vehicle were two unresponsive men: 34-year-old Ricky Antoine Taylor and 29-year-old Black male Michael Laprince Pinckney.
