In the spring of 2019, the community of Denmark, South Carolina, was shaken by a violent incident that claimed the life of a promising young college student. Jordan Parson, a 20-year-old male, was fatally shot on a Saturday in early April. Originally from Homestead, Florida, Parson was a freshman at Denmark Technical College, where he was also a member of the school's basketball team.
