Jordan Parson, a 20-year-old freshman at Denmark Technical College, was tragically killed on April 6, 2019, in Denmark, South Carolina. Parson, originally from Homestead, Florida, was pursuing an Associate in Science degree and was also a promising basketball player. The incident occurred near downtown Denmark, specifically on Magnolia Avenue, following an argument that escalated into gunfire.
