Mary Carmichael, a 23-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on May 11, 2019. The incident occurred during a violent home invasion at an apartment on Skyland Drive. On that fateful night, a 911 call was made around 10 PM reporting gunshots.
