On a summer evening in Greenville, South Carolina, a dispute between two acquaintances escalated into a fatal encounter, leaving one man dead and another facing a murder charge. The life of Jerel Antonio Mansel, a 29-year-old male, was cut short on July 3, 2019, in the parking lot of the Forest View Apartments in the Nicholtown community. Emergency services were called to the scene where they found Mansel with a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
