Rico Jemel Johnson, a 27-year-old resident of Florence, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on July 6, 2019. The incident occurred late at night when Larry Ja Juan Scipio Jr. knocked on Johnson's front door. Upon Johnson answering the door, Scipio entered the home and shot him multiple times. The Florence County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene in the 3100 block of Tall Oaks Drive and found Johnson critically injured.
