In the small town of Denmark, South Carolina, a late autumn evening in 2019 was shattered by a brutal act of violence that claimed the lives of two men. On the night of November 14th, 32-year-old Kiran Patel and his colleague, 34-year-old Chiray Patel, were working at the Po Boy convenience store on U.S. Highway 78. It was around 10:40 p.m. when the familiar peace of the local establishment was irrevocably broken.
