On a late December evening in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a black sedan traveling north on Kings Highway came to an abrupt stop. A woman exited the vehicle, screaming for someone to call the police, her husband had been shot. Inside the car, in the passenger seat, was 23-year-old Quashaun Bromell, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
