Geoffrey Seidel, a 51-year-old former obstetrician-gynecologist from Johns Island, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 21, 2020. Seidel was shot and killed by an Uber driver following an altercation inside the driver's car. The incident occurred just before midnight in the parking lot of a Food Lion shopping center along Maybank Highway. According to reports, Seidel was found dead in the back seat of the Uber driver's car, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
