Twana Alberta McDaniel, aged 42, was found dead in her backyard on March 21, 2020, in Greenville, South Carolina. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a call just after midnight and discovered McDaniel with a gunshot wound to her torso. The coroner, Parks Evans, confirmed that McDaniel's death was a homicide. Neighbors reported hearing a loud disturbance at her residence on First Street in the Woodside Community shortly before the police arrived.
