Ashwinbhai "Andy" Patel, a 60-year-old convenience store owner from Blackville, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on September 8, 2020. Patel was shot and killed during an armed robbery at his store, the Corner Stop convenience store located at 20416 Solomon Blatt Avenue. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 6:45 a.m., when a customer inside the store witnessed the shooting and called 911.
