In the quiet town of Bethune, South Carolina, the life of 56-year-old Steven Davis was tragically cut short on the evening of Friday, November 6, 2020. Davis, a Black male, was the victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred on Dinkins Circle. When Kershaw County deputies and emergency personnel arrived at the scene, Davis was pronounced dead. Another individual was also injured in the shooting, though details about their condition were not publicly released.
